Unusually textured pendant necklace, made with 100% recycled, solid sterling silver. This slightly domed disc has an added granular texture that graduates across the surface. Made by sprinkling tiny grains of sterling silver across the face of the pendant, before being permanently fused, by soldering to the surface. The unique texture, reminiscent of the Milky Way in the clear, dark, night sky.
The pendant and chain are oxidised completely to give them a dark patina, then the texture on the pendant is picked out again and polished back to the natural silver colour on the highlights.
The pendant is threaded on a 100% recycled, solid sterling silver, diamond cut belcher chain.
