My name’s Lisa, a jewellery maker based in Renfrewshire, in West Central Scotland.  

After graduating from Glasgow School of Art in 1998 with a BA(Hons) in Textile Design, I moved to London & worked my way up in department store retail buying when a jewellery making evening class made me decide, it was time to pursue a more creative career. After moving back to Scotland & completing the HND Jewellery course at City Of Glasgow College, I haven’t looked back! Since then, I’ve been honing my jewellery designing & making skills focusing on mixed metal pieces and gemstones, allowing me to develop a distinctive style using recycled silver & gold with a current focus on decorative keum boo pieces, combining silver & 24ct gold. 

Now, I share a small workshop, with 2 other independent jewellers in Johnstone, where I design and create handmade silver & gold jewellery using as much recycled precious metals as possible.  

Alongside making my own pieces that I sell online & at in-person events or with select stockists, I also create custom & bespoke items. You can contact me to discuss customising a piece, such as modifying the size, or changing the gemstone on a pendant. Bespoke items can be designed collaboratively, from scratch and made, to your very own specifications, meaning the final piece is completely individual to you.  

Further to that, you may have some old unworn jewellery at home, that you don’t wear any longer, or inherited jewellery that is gathering dust in a box somewhere. Something that’s quite sentimental that you don’t want to part with, but in its current form, just doesn’t get used. That’s when it’s worth having a chat to see if it’s possible to turn these pieces into new, wearable jewellery that you’ll wear & treasure a little bit longer.  

As well as making, I also offer the chance to join me in my small, but fully equipped jewellery workshop where you can learn to create your own handmade jewellery during guided, jewellery-making sessions.
